Who I am actually looking for

I am not looking for a design degree. I am not looking for agency years. I will not ask about either.

I am looking for the person who cannot walk past a badly made poster without mentally fixing it. The person who notices when spacing is wrong before they notice what the poster says. The person who can tell you why a layout works, not just that it looks nice.

Most designers can use the software. Very few can explain a choice. That gap is the entire job.

You probably taught yourself Figma or Canva or Adobe by rebuilding things you admired. You follow international design accounts. You have opinions about brands, and you can defend them. You have redone your own work at two in the morning because something was off by four pixels and it was bothering you.

You are not looking for a job where someone hands you specifications. You want to own how a company looks. From the brand book to a pitch deck to how our LinkedIn presence reads to a client meeting us for the first time.

That is the person I want. Experience without taste is not useful here. Taste without experience is.

Remotely Empowered LLC is a US registered company operating from Peshawar. We provide AI powered remote teams to American businesses.

This role owns how everything we make looks, from the first day.

What you will do

What you'd own.

  • Design across formats. Social posts, PDFs, presentations, brand assets
  • Build and maintain a brand book. Colours, type, spacing, rules
  • Build pitch decks that hold up in front of a real client, not just slides that look nice
  • Design LinkedIn profiles, LinkedIn banners, and professional cover pages
  • Set up and manage our social media presence end to end
  • Use AI design tools alongside Figma, Canva, or Adobe
  • Keep everything visually consistent across every channel
  • Stay ahead of design and platform trends rather than following them, including how AI is changing design and branding itself

What we need

What has to be true about you.

  • Judgment, not just software skill. You can explain why a layout works
  • A portfolio, however small or informal
  • Understanding of brand systems, not just individual posts. Colours, brand identity, and the brand book itself
  • The ability to build a pitch deck from scratch, not experience being handed one to edit
  • An eye for LinkedIn branding specifically, since it is often the first thing a client sees
  • Some sense of funnels, landing pages, and web design, even if informal or self taught
  • Awareness of what is current on every major platform right now, and how AI tools are reshaping design and branding
  • Comfort producing polished client facing documents and decks
  • Willingness to redo work when it is not right

Where and when

On site, Peshawar.

On site at our office on Abdara Road, Peshawar. This is not a remote or freelance role.

Shift is 6pm to 2am Pakistan time, which lines up with 9am to 5pm in New York.
